APWI is pleased to announce the release
of RoutXpress 2.1 that includes some key new features.
Now RoutXpress can perform Automatic Meter
Read & report Toner Levels for Copy-Print-Scan-Fax
Multi Function Printers.
RoutXpress has added the ability to read the meters
in network connected MFPS. It will also be able to
determine toner levels and automatically e-mail
this information to pre-defined recipients, such as
the company administrator and the service provider.
It is possible to setup RoutXpress to send emails
out when toner is low or empty.
RoutXpress will now also be able to read the MS
Active directory and pull needed information
resulting in faster and easier installations.
You can now configure multiple printers with just
one click of your mouse, thus saving time during the
initial installation.
Also, the IM will now notify the User if their print
job has encountered a problem while being printed.
For example: if a user’s print job gets jammed
in a printer, RoutXpress will send a message
to the user notifying them that their job is stuck
and needs attention. At the same time RoutXpress will
route all print jobs that have been sent to that printer
to an alternate printer that is capable of printing
the job, and it will send an IM message to the user
notifying them where their print job has been printed.
