Method Number 1 : Simple

Installing normal softfonts on the LaserNet Server (and on the machine which uses the LaserNet Developer) enables you to convert any number (article number for instance) to any given barcode font.

Some barcode types can be installed from Windows softfonts library or can in some cases be installed for free on the internet. Alternatively you can buy a full package which contains:

2/5 interleaved, 3/9, 93, 128, Bookland, Codabar, EAN-8, EAN-13, PostNet, UPC-A, and UPC-E bar code fonts. You get both standard and human readable versions of the 2/5 interleaved, 3/9, 93, 128, and Codabar.

Please be aware the ”start/stop – signs” and calculations for “checknumber” must be defined in the customers datastream in the simple version.

Method Number 2 : advanced

The above mentioned font-pack is used in Method Number 2, but LaserNet v6 barcode module includes automatic calculations of start/stop numbers and checknumbers.

The barcode module is an integral part of LaserNet so it doesn’t cost you any money. The barcode module can convert numbers to barcodes but we do not supply you with the barcodes. So if you don’t have the barcodes on you server, they you have to acquire or buy them from us for 384£. LaserNet is compatible with the Elfring fonts :

Delivery : If you buy the font from APWI then we will deliver them to you via email with unlocked codes. We can also send it to you as a original CD (extra cost). The time of delivery for the CD is approximately 14 days and it contains a users manual.
