This is a further extension of the existing LaserNet PDF IN tool. The new version has additional features, including multiple language handling as well as a more accurate conversion of PDF to text for better handling in LaserNet.

Since these tools minimise manual data input, they help with:

• Cutting the time and cost of processing incoming orders and invoices
• Automating the creation & email-fax delivery of outgoing documents from JD Edwards Oneworld, easily transposing PDF text into outgoing documents. This could be order acknowledgements, direct debit notifications etc.

For Example: An AutoFORM LaserNet user often receives purchase orders from his/her customers as PDF email attachments. LaserNet detaches the p.o. and extracts the data by converting it into a comma separated (c.s.v) text file (or XML or ODBC) ready for upload to the ERP system.

Simultaneously, AutoFORM PDM automatically stores the original purchase order as a PDF so that it can be quickly referred to onscreen (via JDE or web-browser) in the event of a customer or audit query, meeting Sarbanes Oxley style traceability requirements.
